Cook Pasta al dente
Melt 4 tbsp butter as base of rou. Whisk in flour for a minute. 1/3 cup flour seemed reasonable.
Recipe calls for 3 cups whole milk and a cup of heavy cream? I used 2 cups milk instead of four (small container Publix). Whisk until bubbles then another 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Add 2 cups shredded cheese. Add another two cups of shredded cheese? Whisk until creamy and smooth and thick.
Stir in cooled pasta until well coated. Pour half of mac in tray top with 2 more cups cheese and then add the rest.
Then top with breadcrumb. 4 tbsp of melted butter for breadcrumbs is a lot, try and cut down. Forgot to use Parmesan cheese. Madi said could use 1/2 cup less panko when adding parmesan.
30 minutes in oven at 350 degrees
