Made some awesome ribs today. I made a rub (spicy mustard, paprika, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil and one shot dark rum. I baked them for over an hour on 300 degrees. Then I grilled them while brushing barbeque, worsh, and more brown sugar to offset the spicy rub. Came out fucking awesome considering it was my first time cooking ribs. Next time I’ll go a little weaker on the hot spices and the liquid part of the rub. The trick is to hold off on the liquid sauce to get crispier ribs…
